Sharing Translations

OmniTranslate allows you to share your translation threads with others via a unique, read-only link. This guide will walk you through sharing a translation thread. We'll use the thread for "The Cannon Fodder Turns His Sister into a Soaring Phoenix" that we translated in the 'Your First Translation' guide.

Steps

1. Navigate to the Thread

Go to your Library and click on the thread you want to share. We'll be using the thread we translated from 'Your First Translation'.

2. Open Thread Options

Click the three dots on the right side of the thread item to open the menu, then select 'Share'.

3. Generate Link

A dialog will appear with a unique shareable link for your thread.

4. Copy and Share

Copy the link and send it to anyone you'd like. After they paste the link in their browser, they can read your translation.

What the Shared Page Looks Like

Anyone with the link will be able to view the translations within that thread. They will see the translated text in a clean, readable format. They will not be able to edit your translations, change thread settings, or access your account.

This feature is perfect for:

• Sharing your translations with a proofreader.
• Giving friends a sneak peek of your work.
• Posting your translations publicly for others to read.
