Lite View Example

  1. Box Style: Apply the system box style to your translation in accordance with your settings.
  2. Keyboard Navigation: Use arrow keys to navigate between chapters.

Limitations

To maintain simplicity, the following features are not available in Lite View:

  1. Chunk Actions: No chunk-level tools.
  2. Translation Actions: No re-translating or editing.
  3. Settings: Manage settings are hidden.
  4. Term Highlight: Glossary terms are not highlighted.
  5. Requests: No prefetch or translation requests.
  6. Raw Content: View only the translated text.

Compatibility

Lite View coincidentally works well with browser-native Read Aloud and Text-to-Speech features. We recommend the following browsers for the best experience:

Microsoft Edge (Desktop & Android)

Edge offers Immersive Reader with natural-sounding voices and auto-scroll that highlights text as you read. Check out the Microsoft Edge Immersive Reader Guide for more information.

WARNING

Edge on iOS currently has compatibility issues with Lite View.

Google Chrome (Desktop)

Chrome provides auto-scroll and continuous reading mode, allowing seamless page-to-page navigation without re-entering reading mode. Learn more in the Chrome Read Aloud Guide.

Safari (iOS)

Safari provides the best read-aloud experience on iOS. See Apple's Listen to a Webpage documentation for details.
